A Multi-Role Ecosystem
EMI Locker apps are not single-user tools—they serve a layered hierarchy of business roles. Each role has a purpose-built interface that matches their specific responsibilities, reducing friction and improving operational efficiency across the entire lending chain.
Super Admin
At the top sits the Super Admin, typically the platform owner or White Label operator. They oversee the entire network: onboarding distributors, monitoring all device activity, managing billing, resolving disputes, and accessing aggregate analytics. The Super Admin Panel is a web-based dashboard built for scale.
Distributor
Distributors manage a network of retailers under them. They can monitor the payment status of all devices across their retailer network, view EMI dues, send alerts, and escalate lock commands. The Distributor Web Panel gives them full visibility without requiring direct customer interaction.
Retailer
Retailers are the front line of the operation. They register new customer devices, collect EMIs, and trigger lock/unlock commands via the Retailer App. When a payment is received, they approve the unlock—often via OTP confirmation sent to the customer. The Retailer App is mobile-first and built for daily field use.
Customer
Customers interact with the platform indirectly. When their EMI is due, they see a payment reminder screen on the device. Once payment is confirmed and approved by the retailer, they receive an OTP to unlock. The experience is designed to be clear, respectful, and non-intrusive—encouraging timely payment rather than penalizing customers.
